You must have a certified, licensed glacier tour guide with you. As the glaciers are always moving there is a chance for collapse or even deadly geothermal trapped gases so having the guide is a requirement to walk into a glacier.
Having a photographer that is well versed in the glacial landscapes and has the proper fitness and equipment to be along side of you. Glaciers have varying dangers, light availability, and potential strenuous areas to hike.
Having a planner who can help you coordinate the glacier company, the tour itself into your timeline, which glacier to go to, and how to create the rest of your day around the glacier adventure to ensure you have a full day of amazingness and not just a few hours.
