Winters in Iceland can be pretty cold and pretty darn windy. That did not stop these two from having the most intentional vow reading together that they could have.
They came to Iceland after having their ‘big wedding’ back home. Katelyn and Johnny had their wedding with family & friends, but felt like it was not all encompassing of what they wanted. They didn’t have a chance during the day to connect and say meaningful vows to one another.
While on their honeymoon in Iceland, they knew they wanted to have a nice ceremony, just for the two of them, to have a private moment together and strengthen their marriage even more. It was their private elopement and special space to just be themselves and feel free enough to pour their hearts out to one another with how much they are each appreciated. It was extra special, insanely windy, and at this private waterfall with a volcano peaking in the distance.
It was beautiful, private, cold, & amazing. If you are wanting to have a winter elopement or vow reading, I suggest wearing boots for now and some outerwear to keep you warm! The winter is serene, quiet, & an untouched winter wonderland. Pretty dang romantic if you ask me.
